When Science Fiction is More Popular than Productivity
I Have No Idea Why
When I first opened my Medium publications I expected the productivity publication to get far more readers and writers than my science fiction publication
Medium, my arch nemesis, you outwit me once again.
When I publish a productivity article I might get a 75% (#nojinx) read rate, a science fiction story will get me 50% read rate.
So I expected the same for the Medium publication I edit. But not so my science fiction publicatin has around 4 times as many subscribers, reads and submissions.
What’s going on? Any ideas?
I thought the productivity publication would be far more popular.
Did you know that the editor of a publication (me) can chose where to place the articles on the homepage.
That means I can promote older stories.
I am looking for science fiction/fantasy horror stories or productivity/creativity stories that have been previously published
either on Medium or elsewhere, but are not currently in a Medium publication.
